Our Philly & Friends' founder, Vese Aghoghovbia, never expected the email that arrived exactly five years after launching the brand. It was an invitation from the Prime Minister to 10 Downing Street for an exclusive event with entrepreneurial leaders. Back in 2019, exactly four days before having her son, Vese launched her debut children's book, "Who Do I See in the Mirror?" and embarked on the adventure of Philly & Friends. With an 18 month old daughter and her newborn by her side, she navigated the early challenges, questioning her timing but never her passion. Little did she know, exactly five years later, on her son's birthday, she would be sitting alongside CEOs and business icons, discussing the very issues that impact small businesses like hers.
